Wario Guy: A total coward, and doesn't even like Wario 'that much'

It was a beautiful day in the Mushroom Kingdom, and especially beautiful on Lavalava Island. LuigiGuy, Mario Guy, Peach Gal, and Cutie Gal were all set out at a picnic. LuigiGuy and Cutie Gal nuzzled playfully, while Peach Gal just glared at a nervous Mario Guy that was trying to make idol chitchat. "I don't get why we have to have Spear Guys guarding us everywhere..." Cutie Gal frowned, looking around. Indeed, several Spear Guys were positioned around, standing armed and ready.

"Protection," Peach Gal glared. "In case we're assaulted."

"What I don't get is why we're eating tacos," LuigiGuy picked up a taco. "You know, some years back, I actually had a taco with a pink blob named Kirby. I couldn't figure out how to eat the taco back then, because my mask was getting in the way... Then I found out I could just toss it underneath!"

"You're so funny," Cutie Gal giggled, kissing him on the cheek.

"Hey, you can't be here!"

"I'll do what I want!!"

"No, you won't!"

"I'm a Goddess, let me through!!"

The four stopped and turned. There was Dansyt, attempting to break free from the grips of several Spear Guys. Peach Gal angrily marched up to Dansyt. "Out with it, already."

"Well, if it isn't Ms. Spears."

"Speak, or I'll rip you open. What do you want this time?"

"...I'm here for LuigiGuy and Mario Guy, this time."

LuigiGuy and Mario Guy blinked, confused. "Why?" They asked together.

"It's...it's Bowsnifit..."

Moments later, Dansyt sat with them, panting hard. They now saw that her dress was slightly tattered. "Bowsnifit...he attacked my Bandits and I...and kidnapped Waluigi Guy..."

"Why?" Cutie Gal asked.

Dansyt frowned. "After our last encounter... Bowsnifit was really disappointed with how we fought against you, so he attacked us. He planned to take us all as his prisoners, but he only got Waluigi Guy..."

"Alright, I just need to ask a few questions first," LuigiGuy said. Dansyt nodded. "I met Waluigi Guy later, and he was a really sweet guy. What was wrong with him when you fought us?"

"My bandits toughened him up," shrugged Dansyt. "I couldn't let him look like a wimp, so my bandits threatened him into looking tough or else."

"Next, how can someone like Bowsnifit kidnap Waluigi Guy?"

"He's got Bowser's brawns, what can I say?"

"Also, you have an entire army of bandits. Can't you sick them on him?"

"I tried. It turns out Bowsnifit has built up his own army. It was a pretty even match..."

"Finally, Wario Guy was working with you before, so..."

"He may have gotten to him, I don't know..."

Mario Guy and LuigiGuy looked at each other in horror. Cutie Gal stepped in, "Where are they now?"

Dansyt sighed, "...Subcon, land of dreams..."

"What!?" all four gasped.

"...what's that?" asked LuigiGuy.

The other four just stared at him in shock. "You don't know what Subcon is!?" gapped Dansyt. LuigiGuy shook his head. "...it's a land only found in dreams. It was a peaceful land once, but then some evil frog named Wart conquered it. So, Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Toad all went out and saved it. They thought it was a dream for a while, but soon a portal opened up and all the species from Subcon came here to the Mushroom World, like you! Shy Guys all originate from Subcon! The only reason you're here is because of there!"

LuigiGuy thought long and hard about it. "...nope! Sorry, don't have any idea what you're talking about!"

Dansyt groaned. "Whatever. I need you to come with me to Subcon! Waluigi Guy is in big trouble, and maybe Wario Guy, too!"

"...Alright, we'll go," Mario Guy nodded.

The four wrapped up their picnic, and an hour later, the five of them (shockingly, without the accompany of the Spear Guys) stood before a stairway that led to a door in the sky. "...THAT'S the portal?" asked LuigiGuy.

"C'mon, let's go," Peach Gal was the first to walk up the staircase. Suddenly, something crashed into her, knocking her off the staircase.

"PEACH GAL!!" Mario Guy panicked, dashing forward and catching her. "Are you okay?!"

"Yeah, I'm fine," she growled, pulling away from Mario Guy. "Don't touch me. YOU!" Peach Gal stomped up to the attacker, who was revealed to be a Spear Guy with a Toad cap. "I specifically stated that all Spear Guys were to stay behind while we came here."

"I don't remember that..." the Shy Guy, Toad Guy, blinked.

"That's because the writer was too lazy to write it," Peach Gal glared at the fourth wall.

Toad Guy shrugged, "Nonetheless, I'm following. I'm not going to let you go alone!" Peach Gal growled, but finally accepted it. The six carried on up the staircase, in the order of Mario Guy, LuigiGuy, Cutie Gal, Peach Gal, Toad Guy, and Dansyt.

The door opened and they entered through. One by one, they screamed as they fell. Except Dansyt, who just cackled as she stood at the door edge, looking down on the poor souls falling to their doom. "Idiots..." She laughed, slamming the door shut. She was about to walk down the stairs, before remembering, "Wait, how am I going to get to Bowsnifit, then?"

Mario Guy hit the ground first with Toad Guy crashing in on top of him. LuigiGuy crashed next, Cutie Gal craddled safely in his arms. Peach Gal was the last, floating safely on a Glide Guy parasol. While the other four were still dazed and confused, Peach Gal looked around. "Subcon." She said. The land around felt so barren. There were some trees and tall hills scattered here and there, mountains in the far distant, and a forest nearby. It looked almost nothing like home. After the four got off their feet and rejoined with Peach Gal, they finally set off.

"Say, where's Dansyt?" Mario Guy asked.

"She probably ditched us, that coward," LuigiGuy groaned. "She hates doing any work herself, so she's probably sending us in to do this for her."

"Ugh," Mario Guy groaned. "Women... OW!" Peach Gal and Cutie Gal both sucker punched him in the gut, knocking him over. "...jerks..."

The five continue on, hopping along logs on a waterfall. "Where do all these logs keep coming from?" LuigiGuy asked no one in particular, stumbling at the last moment as he hops over to the other side.

Soon, they made their way to a mountain. Mario Guy, Cutie Gal, and Toad Guy had to walk all the way through the mountain to get higher up, but LuigiGuy and Peach Gal managed to simply jump up to the higher point. They continued on, soon climbing up a vine that led them up to sets of clouds, each with a vine sticking out from them. They finally reached a land above and continued on, soon reaching a large platform and a large bird's face. "...this place is way too empty for my comfort," Mario Guy shivered. "Seriously, where the hell is everybody!?"

"HI-YAAAAAH!!"

Suddenly, a figure came crashing down on Mario Guy, pinning him down. It was a Fly Guy; Alex Guy. He smacked at Mario Guy with his sword. "OW!" Mario Guy cried. "What's your problem?!"

"Where is she!?!" Alex Guy growled, pinning Mario Guy down by his...neck?

"Where's who?" Mario Guy blinked.

Alex Guy was jabbed back by Peach Gal, but Alex Guy quickly jabbed her back. Toad Guy and Mario Guy both retaliated at that, but Alex Guy easily dodged, causing them both to crash into each other. LuigiGuy shot an electric ball at him, but Alex Guy smacked it back with his sword. The four each came after him one by one, but somehow Alex Guy managed to fend off each of them until they were all beat. "I'm warning you. Tell me one last time: where is she!?"

"We don't know who you're talking about," Cutie Gal spoke up, having not fought. "You may have the wrong people. If you would please excuse us, we're on a mission to see someone."

"...who?"

"He's an evil Snifit, named Bowsnifit. He's kidna-"

"Bowsnifit!?" Alex Guy gasped. "I...I see..."

Alex Guy floated off a bit, pulling out a picture and staring at it. "..."

"What's his problem?" Mario Guy asked, walking next to Cutie Gal.

Suddenly, the wind picked up and snatched the picture from Alex Guy. He scrambled to get it, but it was carried over to Cutie Gal. She caught it and looked at it. It was a crude drawing of Alex Guy, a female Snifit, and a female Snifit/Fly Guy cross. Alex Guy quickly snatched the picture from her, embarrassed. "Was that your wife and daughter?" Cutie Gal asked.

"...I wish," sighed Alex Guy.  "You see, for a while now, Bowsnifit and I have been fighting over this absolutely amazing Snifit named Snifalina. I love her so, so much...but I have to fight for her love. This is Candita Gal. She's my idea of what our daughter might be like... Sigh... Bowsnifit had told me you guys kidnapped Snifalina, and I was foolish enough to believe him... I just...wanted to be a hero..."

"Well, you CAN be a hero," smiled Cutie Gal. "We're on our way to rescue friends of ours that were actually kidnapped by Bowsnifit. If you'd like, you could join us. Then you'd be a real hero!"

"Deal!!" Alex Guy agreed, not even pausing to think it over.  "Oh, thank you!!"

"Oh... Bowsnifit...that was so beautiful," blushed Snifalina.

Bowsnifit smiled and bowed, "Why, thank you, my dear." Then he leaned over to a Snifit soldier. "Go see if you can find any more poems in Bowser's Castle." The Snifit nodded and hurried off.

Suddenly, Waluigi Guy and Wario Guy ("Slow Guy....") walked up to Bowsnifit. "May we please have some more coins for the arcade?" asked Waluigi Guy. "We ran out..." Bowsnifit nodded and gave them each a bag of coins, and they then hurried off.

"Ya know, maybe you're not such a bad guy after all..." smiled Snifalina.

Bowsnifit laughed, "Well, obviously. I'm a romantic, not a pervert like that ridiculous Fly Guy."

"Eh, he's not that bad," shrugged Snifalina. "I mean, he's sweet, nice, funny... Sure, that idea of his was really odd and creepy, but still touching and thoughtful..."

Bowsnifit glared, "Idea? What idea?"

"Oh, it's nothing, just some silly thing he came up with for if he and I had a daughter," shrugged Snifalina.

The castle might've exploded at that point. A DAUGHTER!? Oh, how dare that creep! That disgusting, vile creep. Bowsnifit had entirely forgotten about the party he had sent here at that point. His focus was now on one Shy Guy and one Shy Guy only. Alex Guy. Yes, today shall be the end of all things.

Finally, the team reached castle. "It's been a long journey. We may not make it out alive, but know that it has been an honor fighting by your side," said Alex Guy.

Peach Gal groaned, "You do realize this isn't actually life or death, right?"

"I know," beamed Alex Guy. "I just always wanted to say something like that."

"It won't be life or death as long as I'm here to protect you," assured Toad Guy.

"No, as long as I'M here to protect her!" snapped Mario Guy.

The two glared at one another. "You're both idiots," groaned Peach Gal.

"I think it's cute," giggled Cutie Gal.

"I think we should go in now," said LuigiGuy.

The team burst through the door, marching in. Mario Guy stayed behind to tie his shoes, Toad Guy and Alex Guy stopping at the door impatiently. After Mario Guy realized that he didn't wear those kinds of shoes, they heard a loud crash. Turning inside, they saw LuigiGuy, Cutie Gal, and Peach Gal trapped in a cage. Toad Guy was ready to charge in, but Mario Guy and Alex Guy dragged him behind a pillar.

Bowsnifit approached the cage, "Finally, I have...hmm!? Where... You were meant to be defeated by Alex Guy... Did you...kill him?"

LuigiGuy turned around, seeing no sign of Mario Guy, Toad Guy, or Alex Guy. "...yes," lied LuigiGuy. "He got Mario Guy and another, but we gave him his Game Over afterwards." Peach Gal and Cutie Gal choked at LuigiGuy's quick thinking, so unnerving to pretend to kill off his friends...

Bowsnifit glared deep into LuigiGuy's eyes, who just returned it with an unmoving gaze. "...good. That filth deserved it. This...is not what I had planned. Not at all, no..."

"Where's Wario Guy and Waluigi Guy?" asked LuigiGuy, faintly hearing "Slow Guy" in the back of his head. "They're why we're here."

Bowsnifit snapped his fingers, and two Fly Guys dragged in Wario Guy, "Slow Guy..." and Waluigi Guy. He then unlocked 

"I knew it..." sighed Waluigi Guy. "I only had 1000 points before getting the high score, and I was dragged away before I could..."

Bowsnifit turned and walked last the duo, "Take the lovebirds and go. I'm done with them."

"...lovebirds?" blinked Slow Guy.

LuigiGuy grabbed their hands and pulled them outside. Cutie Gal and Peach Gal followed, the door slamming close behind.

"...what're you knitting?" asked Waluigi Guy.

Cutie Gal had been knitting for quite some time now, though oddly no one noticed. It was a doll of a Snifit with a Fly Guy's head-copter. "Something for a friend," giggled Cutie Gal.

The trio snuck through the castle, passing deep through to the throne room. "Snifalina!!" cried out Alex Guy, flying straight into her arms.

Snifalina was taken aback by the hug, "O-oh! What...what're you doing here?"

"We're rescuing you!" smiled Alex Guy. "That's what heroes do for their princesses, right?"

Snifalina blushed, "But...I don't need to be rescued. Bowsnifit invited me over here and I've been having quite a nice time..."

"...Wh...what?" frowned Alex Guy. "...stupid...stupid..."

"YOU!!!" The four turned to see a VERY pissed Bowsnifit, fire constantly flaring from his snout like a lighter being turned on and off. "I was just told that you were DEAD!!!"

"You lied to me," growled Alex Guy, pulling out his sword. "Then you were going to capture me and kill me."

"I WILL kill you," snorted Bowsnifit. "You don't really deserve Snifalina. She is a being of true beauty and grace. You are an obsessive, perverted FREAK!! Really, you designed a DAUGHTER for you two!?"

Alex Guy glanced at Snifalina, who just shrugged nervously. "I... Sh-shut up!"

Bowsnifit snapped his fingers and suddenly an army of various Shy Guys, such as Shy Guys, Snifits, Stilt Guys, Boom Guys, Fly Guys, and more. "Game Over," growled Bowsnifit.

Toad Guy stepped forward, gripping his spear. "I shall take care of the others myself," he said. "You two, after Bowsnifit."

Mario Guy glared, "No way, we're in this together."

"Trust me, you two will need it," assured Toad Guy.

Mario Guy wanted to object, but Alex Guy pulled him back. The three leapt forward and the battle began.

Meanwhile, Waluigi Guy, Wario Guy, and Peach Gal had managed to sneak back into the castle. "Why're we even here again?" asked Waluigi Guy. 

"Because Cutie Gal finished this doll and needed me to take it to Alex Guy somewhere in here," said Peach Gal.

"Oh. Okay," nodded Waluigi Guy. "...doesn't explain why I'm here..."

"...I'm only here because I didn't want Waluigi Guy to go alone with you...in case something bad happened..." sighed Wario Guy. "...said Slow Guy..."

"...knowing my luck, something bad WILL happen, so worry away," said Waluigi Guy, unassuringly.

"HALT!" Dansyt fell from the roof. "Aren't you supposed to, like, be DEAD right now?"

"Aren't you supposed to, like, be less of an obnoxious boob?" snorted Peach Gal.

"Oh...you did not just..." Dansyt was all riled up now.

Peach Gal tossed the doll to Slow Guy and the two Shy Gals leapt towards each other in a cat fight, tearing at each other to the bone. Slow Guy and Waluigi Guy snuck around the fighting Gals and hurried along. "Girls can be so crazy..." sighed Waluigi Guy.

"Yeah, I know," laughed Slow Guy. "Thankfully, I'm gay, so I'll never have to worry about that."

Waluigi Guy paused, shocked. "Y-you are?"

"Yeah," nodded Slow Guy. "You...don't have a problem with that, right?"

"N-no, of course not," Waluigi Guy shook his head. "It's just that-"

Soon, the two reached the throne room where a war was proceeding. Toad Guy had kept well in fighting off the whole army single-handedly. Mario Guy and Alex Guy, meanwhile, fought off against Bowsnifit. In the throne, they saw a nervous Snifalina, so the two hurried towards her. "You okay?" asked Waluigi Guy, patting her head. Alex Guy saw this, and immediately Waluigi Guy was on his target list next to Bowsnifit.

Snifalina nodded, "Yeah. It's just...this is insane. All this...over me."

"HEY!!!!" Slow Guy screamed out. All five fighters (Mario Guy, Alex Guy, Bowsnifit, Toad Guy, and one remaining Shy G- wait, no, it's dead now.)- I mean, four fighters, turned to see Slow Guy holding a doll above his head.

Alex Guy fell to his knees. "No way..."

"Don't tell me..." Bowsnifit was unamused. "That's..."

"I don't get it," Mario Guy turned to Toad Guy, who just shrugged.

"Is that...?" Snifalina was both flattered and disturbed.

"CANDITA GAL!!" Alex Guy tackled Slow Gut to the ground and hugged the life-sized doll of Candita Gal. "This is so beautiful..."

"You can thank Cutie Gal," groaned Slow Guy. Quickly, Waluigi Guy lifted him up.

"Oh, I MUST thank her!!" Immediately, Alex Guy flew down the hall.

Bowsnifit paused, then sighed, "...I'll just be off, then..."

"...wait," said Snifalina, hurrying up to Bowsnifit. "...take care." She gave him a hug and a kiss on the cheek, then hurried after Alex Guy.

"Let's go," Waluigi Guy carried the beaten Slow Guy out. Mario Guy and Toad Guy were confused by what just happened, but followed anyways.

Outside the door to Subcon, the team had gathered around together. "Thank you so much..." cried Alex Guy, hugging the doll close. "I will cherish her forever..."

"No problem," smiled Cutie Gal. "You're a much better match for Snifalina than that meanie Bowsnifit. He kidnapped me, so I would know."

"...he's not that bad," sighed Snifalina, but ended up ignored.

As Alex Guy and Snifalina parted ways from the group, the team carried on. "We'd better head back," said LuigiGuy to Cutie Gal. She nodded and they hurried off. 

Mario Guy turned and looked at the other three; Toad Guy, Slow Guy, and Waluigi Guy. "I feel like I'm forgetting something..."

Meanwhile, Peach Gal and Dansyt continued to tear at each other back in Subcon.
