Super Mario Girl - Cast 1

In 1983, Mario Mario and Luigi Mario encountered a strange assortment of baddies in the sewers of Brooklyn while on the job. Two years later, after having completely forgotten the strange event, they were sucked down a pipe while on the job into a strange vast world known as the "Mushroom World". They set off on a journey to rescue a princess from an evil turtle tyrant, which caused a chain of events that led to the Mario Bros. staying in the Mushroom World to protect the Mushroom Kingdom and Princess Peach Toadstool. 26 years later, Mario and Bowser have finally stopped fighting and settled down. However, they now plain to have their children carry on their legacy for them...

This is the first set of a cast of characters from Super Mario Girl, the next generation of Super Mario Bros.

Apple Mario: The daughter of King Mario Mario and Queen Peach Toadstool Mario. She is the new princess of the Mushroom Kingdom and the next hero of the Mushroom Kingdom after Mario. She is very bubbly and happy-go-lucky, and often strays off from her tracks. However, she knows right from wrong, and can always be counted on to get the job done. She's currently dating Bowser Jr., but does so in secret. She also takes care of a spotted egg, that'll one day hatch and make her a "mother".

Mario Mario: The king of the Mushroom Kingdom, father of Apple Mario, husband to Peach Mario, and the previous hero of the Mushroom Kingdom. He wears the same attire as he did years ago, as to keep to his iconic look. He trains Apple to become a hero, and sometimes believes he's doing a bad job whenever Apple strays off. He does believe very much in Apple, however.

Whoashi: A light blue Yoshi. Like Yoshi to Mario, Whoashi is the riding partner and pet of Apple. She has more of personality similar to Birdo, as she can be very flashy and cares more about herself and jewels than others. However, she can certainly be counted on when the time comes.

Toadingham: An 8-year old Toad that's a little in over his head. He's the advisor, watcher, and best friend of Apple. He is like Apple's Toadsworth. He is very intelligent, and claims he is the grand-nephew of Toadsworth, who is currently deceased so it is unknown if this is even true. He is very overconfident with himself, and this usually gets him in trouble.
Game Theme: "Mushroom City" - Mario Kart: Double Dash ([link])

Bowser Jr.: The youngest son of Bowser and the current heir to the throne of Darkland, even though Ludwig von Koopa is the eldest child. He has worked to create a look for himself that doesn't make him look like his father. Although his father had raised him to take over the Mushroom Kingdom like he had planned to do, Bowser Jr. is still trying to find his place with either good or evil. He's currently dating, but he does so in secret.

Kamon: Like Kammy and Kamek before him, Kamon is the advisor for Bowser Jr. He is very odd and enjoys torturing people with magic. He also has a very weird laugh that Bowser Jr. keeps telling him to stop with, but he often does so anyways. Usually on purpose. Usually. Usually.

Poppy Mario: The son of King Luigi Mario and Queen Daisy Mario, and the prince of Sarasaland. He's also the Apple's cousin. Poppy takes his status as prince much more seriously than Apple does with her position as princess. Poppy does not fight by jumping and punching enemies like Luigi and Mario have done so, but instead has been trained to wield a sword. He claims to be seeing a girl from the Waffle Kingdom, but it is unknown if this is actually so.
